The OPTI-TRAP™ is a bi-directional trap cartridge system that can be used individually or in series for sample concentration and purification.
For the Micro and Macro configurations, the OPTI-TRAP system uses a stainless-steel trap holder with a PEEK flow path. The holder itself contains no titanium or PCTFE. OPTI-TRAP cartridges/inserts are PCTFE with titanium frits for chemical compatibility and full biocompatibility.
The OPTI-TRAP system features low back pressure and may be loaded and eluted manually with a syringe or used on-line when plumbed into the sample injection valve. The bi-directional OPTI-TRAP cartridge supports flushing and bed regeneration.
The OPTI-TRAP system is rated hand-tight for use up to 1,500 psi (100 bar).
Custom packing is available for OPTI-TRAP cartridges upon request.
The Micro/Macro Loop Trap Holder, part number 10-02-04751, includes PEEK fittings and tubing. The included fittings and tubing do not need to be purchased separately.
This holder is compatible with the OPTI-TRAP Micro 5 µL and Macro 50 µL cartridge configurations.
