Mill-Turn Machinist - Day shift Oregon City, OR2+ Years

Job Description

Optimize Technologies is seeking a full-time Mill-Turn Machinist who is able to make offset and tool changes. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is self-directed and willing to work with small parts. Optimize produces its own product line of fittings and accessories for liquid handling (UHPLC / HPLC / LCMS) equipment. The Mill-Turn section of the shop primarily machines stainless bar stock but sometimes uses soft plastics such as Teflon. The stainless stock combined with complex features and small ID through holes presents challenges throughout the setup and tool changes. Attention to detail is necessary in order to catch abnormal tool wear and out-of-spec parts with tight tolerances.

Along with the unique machining projects, Optimize has a non-traditional shop environment that benefits those who appreciate fresh air, sunlight, and cleanliness.

This is a great opportunity for growth for the right candidate. Pay DOE.
