Legacy Product: Assorted 10-32 PEEK Holders and Packed Cartridges
The following product information is retained for customers who currently use or need to identify the legacy OPTI-PAK® Method Development Kit.
The OPTI-PAK® hardware design integrated a PEEK holder with an auto-adjusting stem. This combination provided a fluid interface with standard 10-32 injector ports and a zero-dead-volume connection despite variations in tube stop depth. A proprietary method of frit placement allowed the packed stem to be positioned directly into the flow path, minimizing excess swept volume.
The low swept volume helped minimize sample dilution and dispersion.
OPTI-PAK® products were designed for low-volume trapping applications, including trapping, desalting, and pre-concentration of analyte mixtures. An OPTI-PAK® trap could be installed into the outlet of a switching valve, and a second trap could be installed downstream in the loop of an injection valve for two-dimensional separation applications.
The OPTI-PAK® Method Development Kit included an assortment of disposable 10-32 hand-tight holders and packed cartridges for evaluating trapping configurations.
