The EXP®2 Stem Trap (Nano Flow) is a compact, low-volume trapping system designed for nano-flow applications. The system combines a packed Stem Trap element with the reusable EXP2 Stem Holder (15-02-03996).
The packed floating stem installs into a 10-32 port within the EXP2 Stem Trap and holder assembly and automatically adjusts to provide a zero-dead-volume connection. Available bed volumes range from 0.17 µL to 2.6 µL, with low-volume, low-dispersion configurations for UHPLC trapping applications.
Two product choices are available through the product selector:
The Stem Trap Kit includes the EXP2 Stem Holder with fittings and three packed stems.
The EXP2 Stem Trap system seals to 8,700+ psi when hand-tightened and to 20,000+ psi (1,400+ bar) when wrench-tightened. Configuration-specific pressure limits apply; the selectable Peptide (Pressure Limit 6000psi) configuration is limited to 6,000 psi. Operate within the pressure limit of the selected configuration.
Custom packing is available by request. Contact Optimize Technologies to discuss and order custom configurations.
The EXP2 Stem Trap uses the EXP2 Stem Holder (15-02-03996).
