OPTI-GUARD® Biocompatible provides low-impact, easy-to-use pre-column protection for 4.6, 3.0, 2.1, and 1.0 mm i.d. columns. Its patented floating-stem design automatically adjusts to the tube-stop depth of virtually any manufacturer’s column, creating a reliable zero-dead-volume connection.
The compact, all-in-one design is no larger than a standard HPLC fitting and connects directly to the analytical column without additional tubing. Mated holders and cartridges support hand-tight installation and fast cartridge changes, while the 1 × 14 mm configuration operates at pressures up to 6,000 psi (400 bar). Custom packing and biocompatible options are also available.
